Welcome
The 62nd session of the Société Internationale ‘Fernand de Visscher’ pour l’Histoire des droits de l’Antiquité (SIHDA) will be held in
Fribourg (Switzerland) from the 23rd September until the 27th September 2008.
The theme of this year’s convention has been decided
in Catania and is: "Le contrat dans
tous ses états”, “Contract in its various state”.
With the participation of:
- Prof. Carlo Augusto Cannata (Genova University);
- Prof. Jean Andreau (Director of Studies at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales [HESS], Paris) and
- Prof. Martin-Josef Schermaier (Bonn University).
This 62nd session will
be returning to Fribourg after 40 years and we are thrilled to host
this convention in 2008 which also marks Professor Felix Wubbe’s 85th
birthday.
